Well, it's awesome

I had quite a few "HOLY-SH*T-I-JUST-JUMPED-TEN-FEET" moments. Which was awesome. Only problem I have with it is that there's no checkpoint. Maybe you could make one when the siren goes off so that the player doesn't have to completely start over?

Dude, this game is awesome.
It definitely has that retro feel to it. I didn't grow up in the era of the NES or SNES, but I have played a few of the retro games, and you captured the feeling perfectly (reminiscent of the Megaman series, actually...)
I'm glad that the spikes aren't insta-death (on easy at least) 'cuz that makes the game a bit less difficult for those of us who aren't used to the retro games.
Good job on this, it's brilliant. Can't wait for #2.
